The purpose of this webpage is to provide information to churches and associations in the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware on current issues of the Christian Life and Public Affairs (CLPA) Committee. This information will enable local congregations to address ongoing family issues affecting their members. At the State Level and Local Levels: The CLPA committee solicits your help in identifying issues relating to the moral and ethical issues dealing with the family at the state and local levels. If you know of any issues that your local and state legislative bodies are addressing, please provide that information to the staff liaison office at gnoda@bcmd.org for inclusion in this page. Without local grassroots support on these issues, those who want to destroy what God has designed will win. Starting your own Association or Church Christian Life Committee Each of the 11 Directors of Missions will be receiving a copy of the Christian Life Commitee Manual and a letter from the staff liaison office on how they can promote their own Christian Life and Public Affair teams.
